SPT Offshore BV

Korenmolenlaan 2 3447 GG Woerden, The Netherlands +31 (0)88 2202121 info@sptoffshore.com www.sptoffshore.com

SPT Offshore, a DEME Offshore subsidiary, is the world leading contractor and design consultant specialised in Suction Pile Foundations and Suction Anchors for fixed and floating structures.

We have developed several innovative solutions including our Self Installing Platforms (SIP) for topsides up to 20,000mT and thereby avoiding the use of heavy lift crane barges. SPT Offshore provides inhouse design, fabrication, transportation and installation of suction piles/anchors and suction pile founded platforms.

The usage of suction piles in offshore renewables is increasing rapidly and expanding worldwide. Our latest achievement is the design and installation of the Fujian Changle Waihai Area A and C Offshore Wind Farm Wind Turbine Generator Foundations in China. With a turbine size upto 10MW this forms a new milestone in offshore technology.

Our further innovations to improve the benefits of suction piles comprises a self-installing scour protection system and the tri-suctionpile caisson (TSPC) wind turbine foundation. The scour protection system automatically unfolds during self-weight penetration and therefore requires no additional rock dumping vessel. The TSPC combines the advantage of the noise free suction pile jacket installation and serial production of a monopile.

Optionally, the TSPC can be floated out to the installation site. Doing so the required offshore crane capacity can significantly be decreased.
