Allen fi rst won the award in the fi lm Paupahan, Dukot, Magkakabaung, at Bomba.

PamFAMAS ‘yan, ah?!’ said in receiving the award.

“Thank you so much, FAMAS, for this prestigious award!” he said at the awards rites. And it’s truly an honor to be receiving this tonight. And this is for you, guys!’ “Thank you so much sa lahat ng judges ng FAMAS, at sa lahat po ng bumubuo ng FAMAS, thank you so much in believing in my talent,” Enzo said.

In her opening remarks, Famas President Francia Camacho Conrado noted that the Filipino fi lm industry faced various uncertainties due to the pandemic. Malungkot man, ngunit kailangan nating magpatuloy lumaban. The Filipino fi lm industry responded to the extraordinary challenges posed by the pandemic,” she said.

“Film productions stalled by the pandemic engaged in virtual production techniques coupled with the required quarantine lockdowns.

“I am very much confi dent that the Filipino fi lm industry will bounce back. That despite the eff ects of the coronavirus pandemic, the fi re and passion of the Philippine fi lmmakers will remain. Laban lamang tayo sa galaw ng panahon,” she said. “It has been almost two years since the coronavirus spread across the world. Film productions have stopped. Shootings and cinemas have closed all at once,” she said. Ms. Francia added: “The fi re and passion of the Philippine fi lmmakers remain.
