Upcoming events! This Sunday Mount Vernon is volunteering at the Skagit flats marathon, providing help and guiding runners to the recovery area from 8:30am-2:30pm

Burlington has a whole array of events coming up this month, such as a garage sale on the 15th at Burlington Edison Highschool. on the 22nd of September there is a car wash for fundraising at Le

Starting the year off right! As a young Key Clubber, there is a lot going on in September. All the Clubs have events that can be participated in! Volunteer even if the project is not with your Key Club, though it is preferred that you do volunteer with your own club. If you have volunteering ideas, tell your board members/advisors/me, new ideas can never hurt. Find out who yours sponsoring Kiwanis Club is, go visit them with other members and make a connection, you can find out from you Kiwanis advisor. Ultimately, I hope that every member new or otherwise has a good first month of school/volunteering events!Â

Remember to pay your Dues! I know its awful paying money for anything, however, the money paid for legitimate membership goes to International Key Club and PNW Key Club. It contributes to all district events like DCON. This year clubs that get their dues turned in quickly get put in a raffle get put into a raffle for a chance to be placed in the front rows at DCON, as well as other prizes that I can be emailed for details about. I believe in you guys and I know that you can do it. Turn in your dues on time.

20i/20m joint DCM We are having a DCM with our sister division 20i, on the 30th of September! it will be held at Anacortes Highschool, in 20i territory. There will be icebreakers and quizzes. 20i will be bringing the spirit stick that they received at DCON. I very much hope that every school in our division will send one or two representatives, but the more members there are the more fun that it will be for everyone. I will see you there!
