Dear Division 21 Key Club, First and foremost, I would like to thank YOU for all of your hard work! Thanks to the phenomenal leadership of Selina, our immediate past Lieutenant Governor, and your never-ending dedication, our division has grown so much, in many different aspects! I have witness this while working by Selina’s side as an Executive Assistant, and all of you have never failed to amaze me with your intensity and passion to serve. In all honesty, to be the Lieutenant Governor of such an extraordinary division is intimidating at times. I received many positive comments about our division from other LTGs at DCON, and it’s an honor to be serving you as your helping hand. However, there is always room for improvement, and I believe that you and I, together, can make whatever change necessary, to make our members feel even more welcome, even more involved. So perhaps as we reminiscence about all our wonderful accomplishments, we will also take a moment to ask ourselves, “What’s next on the road?” With that being said, I want to hear your ideas- whether or not you are a “dedicated member”(Hey, Ben from Monroe!) or an outstanding officer! So please don’t hesitate to contact me or say hello when you happen to see me. Please keep reading through the newsletter, as there are important information in all the pages! With Love & Service, Jessica Bae Lieutenant Governor of Division 21 425.248.7258 jessicabae.pnw21@gmail.com “

. Name: Sea Choi Grade: 9 School: Lynnwood High School Y our Spirit Animal: SEAstar (get it) List 3 Interesting Facts About Yourself: I LOVE EXO (I’m in their official fanclub hehe), my name is pronounced “say-ah”, & my dream is to get married to a hot Korean military general dude with a nice back * insert heart eyes emoji * Why Key Club? (200 Words Max.) During my time in Key Club, I came to learn that Key Club isn’t a group of people who make keys. Key Club isn’t just a club, but it’s family. As cheesy as it sounds, it’s true! Every single person in Key Club is there with the purpose to serve others, and I find that amazing. I’ve never seen such a huge group of people who are so willing to dedicate their time and effort into changing the world. So, why Key Club? Key Club is a place where people are able to escape from worldly things. I think of Key Club as my home, because once I return, I’m always able to rest up and take a break from things that may be stressing me out. It’s phenomenal, to be able to always turn to something and know it will always be there. I hope everyone will get to experience Key Club as home, in the way I did. I’m still experiencing it, each and every day. Favorite Key Club Memory? (<200) Other than DCON, my favorite memory was my first club social I ever went to. Being the Freshie-who-missed-the-first- quarter-of-Key-Club-because-of-swim, I didn’t know everyone in our club, so I thought it would be kind of awkward for me. But as soon as everyone started to show up and we started playing games, all of that was gone, and I had a blast. Everyone was so inclusive, and the whole time was a huge bundle of fun! I remember I got really heated up during the games; and oh, I’ll never forget about our bonfire! We told scary stories all night- “Sally’s dog” will be one I remember forever… What is Your Favorite Bee Pun? I bee-lieve I can fly! Closing Message? Yippee! It’s truly an honor to be working alongside Jessica and other awesome members on the Executive Board! I hope that throughout my term, I’ll be able to grow as an individual, a leader, a follower, a Key Clubber, and most of all, a bumblebee! I am truly so grateful to take on this position. I’m ready to show off some of that bumblebee pride, and go crazy with spirit! I can’t contain my enthusiasm and love for our division, it will last forevaaaa! I’m so ready for this new adventure coming my way! Let’s do this, bumblebees! 

Facts: From Guam, President of Key Club, Secretary of 2017 Sophomore Class Why Key Club? I have always been a part of the K- Family and decided to continue the passion of service from Builder's Club to Key Club. The atmosphere of Key Club is what really feeds into my passion to help others and the community. Being in Key Club allows me to be surrounded with people who have the same passion and determination as I do to help everyone besides myself. Favorite Key Club Memory? DCON 2014. This DCON sealed the deal for me loving Key Club!! The way people were to me and how included I was with strangers (not bad strangers tho) established how Key Club really changes everyone. This DCON showed a different (crazier) side of myself and now I'm stuck being weird but I'll be weirder just to go to another DCON AND HAVE THE BEST TIME. ❤❤ oh and I learned how to twerk there with Jessica and we stood on the hotel windowsill in a twerking position to take a photo... Your Favorite Bee Pun? HIVE FIVE..... sorry I'm bee-ing so lame. Okay I'll start bee-having. Closing message Hey BEES!! I'm so honored to serve you guys as your Divisional Editor of 2015-2016!!! I hope I take embarrassing, funny, crazy, wild, and bee-utiful photos of each and every one of you, bumblebees! ❤ Make sure to have fun, shake or twerk your stingers off !! Have another great day of service and continue to bee loving. Love you all BEES !! ❤❤

DCON RECAP

When I got to DCON I looked and I found, all these key clubbers from all around I entered the fray and felt like a peel, until I heard "HEY KEY CLUBBERS HOW DO YOU FEEL?" I jumped and cheered and put up 21, I knew this weekend was going be fun The program started we all went insane, hey, they could tried to stop us but that'd be in vain With glow sticks lit and light sabers ablaze, opening ceremonies was a huge craze As the ceremony ended we all just wanted food, but caucusing was next, hey I was in the mood Day one ended and we rushed out the door, but everyone was thinking lets cheer more and more We closed our eyes and pretended to sleep, but before we new it the alarm clock went beep As sessions began and doors began to shut, I tried to get in but I got cut But it didn't matter cause I got to meet new friends, because even if you're locked out the fun never ends We headed back to get nice and snazzy, we didn't know it yet, but closing ceremonies was to be jazzy As awards handed out and pictures were taken, the crowd went crazy the floor started shakin Dancing through the night with friends and with strangers, don't worry people you aren't in dangers As morning came and key clubbers stirred, number were traded and cries would be heard DCON is over it's finished it's done, but don't worry next year we'll have even more fun -Gary Wu, Lynnwood High School
