A letter from your Time to get pumped!!!

Welcome back to school, bumblebees! I hope all of you guys have gotten a nice start to the school year. As a new school year starts, there’s always more opportunities for service, so make sure you’re alert and on your feet! Thank you for coming out to the DCM last month – it was amazing to see all of you guys again and be able to connect with new members, as well! I hope that the DCM helped get you a quick start to the school year and be able to reach out to others within our division and community, as well. October calls for a few things; Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, and Breast Cancer Awareness month! Hope you’re all showing your pink and carrying around those bright orange boxes, because it’s that season again! Hope you guys all have fun during homecoming season, stay safe, and I’ll see you guys all at the next DCM! In Love and Service,

Sea Choi

Lieutenant Governor of Division 21 Pacific Northwest District Key Club International

A FEW WORDS FROM YOUR. EXECUTIVE ASSISTANTS; Hey Guys! We are a bit past the middle of first quarter, and hopefully, you are doing great in all of your classes! This past month, I found it difficult at times to balance the overload of AP classes, tennis season, Key Club, along with other extracurricular activities, and I’m sure many of you have felt the same. However, we did eventually get through this month, and perhaps this new month will be less stressful and more relaxing for all of us! On a lighter note, homecoming is coming up for most of our schools, and I hope you guys all stay safe (from the clowns) and have lots of fun! Also, Halloween is coming up as well which means many organizations need our help for organizing spooky events for kids! With that said, have a great month of October, and I look forward to seeing you all at our October DCM!!!

ANDREW BAEK

Hey T here!

WOAH, we had over 200 people show up to our September DCM! Although I wasn't able to make it to this months DCM, words cannot describe how proud I am of our division. We raised over $700 for KCCP! I hope that you all settled into the school year well (b/c I didn't omg), and that you all attended your first Key Club meeting of the year! Keep in mind that you guys should keep a look out for volunteer opportunities in the fall! Personally for my club, October-December is when we have so many fun volunteer events to choose from, so make sure you advertise them well! Also we successfully made it through the first month of the school year! Two more months and we're already headed off into winter break! Keep working hard to keep your grades up and keep getting those service hours in! Hope to see your BEE-utiful faces at the next DCM!!! DENNIS MACH

Bumblebees! Hello hello!!! Make the most of the last month of summer because it's almost time for a new school year!! I hope you all finish your summer homework and adjust your sleeping schedule on time so we can all be properly pumped up for the first day!! Remember to be caring and inclusive towards everyone -- new friends and old, family members, teachers, and dogs! And tell everyone to join key club because that's what we do best!! I can't wait to see you soon so we can spend another great year together! What do you call d21 key clubbers during the summer? HOT-BEES :^) VY NGUYEN

SECRETARY: Hey D21! It's finally October which means it's almost Halloween! On Halloween go around and ask for money for KCCP instead of candy! It's a great way to help the community as well as impress the families in your neighborhood. Another even you guys could do is We Scare Hunger where you choose a neighborhood to collect canned foods for your local food bank. That's all for this month! Wear a jacket and don't get sick! I hope you guys have an amazing rest of the month and also be on the lookout for the DCM! THINH DO

EDITOR: What’s Buzzin’? It’s spooky month!! But let’s not get too spooky if you know what i’m sayin… With all these clowns in the area, please be safe while volunteering! But yeah it’s OCTOBER!! You know what that means! TRICK OR TREAT FOR UNICEF! So you know how you always put the extra change in the tip jar at Pochi? Well although tips are great, saving up those extra change and putting that in your unicef box is even greater because all the money you guys collect will help kids in need and in fact will save so many lives! Please check out www.unicefusa.org for more information! I hope to see you guys at the October DCM! AILEEN PHAN
