7 Hills of Kirkland Cycling Event

Explore your artistic side at the Kirkland Arts Center in the historic Peter Kirk Building. Visit the gallery with rotating exhibits. Classes and workshops for all levels are offered throughout the year.

Held every Memorial Day for more than 20 years, enjoy riding in one of the Northwest’s premier cycling events! Riders depart from Kirkland’s Marina Park on Memorial Day morning, riding a 40-mile, metric century, or century road route. The finish line back at Marina Park hosts strawberry shortcake, food trucks, miniature golf, vendors and brews. The classic event raises much needed funds in support of Attain Housing.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sail on the high seas? Ask the crew while you tour the majestic tall ships when they dock at Carillon Point this fall. Public tours and sailings offered throughout the weekend.

Kids ages 3–12 can swim/splash, bike and run in this triathlon that is just for them! The triathlon includes a 50-yard swim/splash in Lake Washington, a half-mile bike ride, and a half-mile run. All segments will be in the park, so kids feel safe and spectators can catch all the fun.
