Landbell Group has a network of recycling companies and logistics providers, which consists of over 800 partners across all five continents. We also manage over 350 qualified waste recycling facilities.
Flexibility, control and best-in-class recycling
This professional and dedicated supply chain is one of the reasons why our producer responsibility organisations (PROs) met their targets in 2020 and treated over 760,000 tonnes of waste (see page 12). This network also underpins our global takeback activities.
Working jointly with municipalities, transport carriers and treatment centres, we carefully managed the entire recycling process, collecting valuable resources – and keeping all stakeholders healthy and safe.
Our procurement teams kept up their benchmarking and supplier tendering, which gave us the flexibility that we needed to adapt, as well as the assurance that all waste was being handled efficiently and to the highest environmental standards.
Own and independent audits
Landbell Group provides the highest possible quality and audit standards for our customers. Since 2005, we have carried out more than 2,000 of our own audits, and we have raised and followed up more than 6,600 corrective actions. In 2020, we performed audits for our producer responsibility organisations and customers and the activities of our producer responsibility organisations were independently audited.
For over 15 years, Landbell Group has developed and maintained its own e-waste and waste batteries treatment standards. Our S3 audit program and standard are recognized by the Global Electronic Council as EoL processing standards, and this standard is used to demonstrate compliance with EPEAT EoL management.
In 2020, we expanded our EPEAT services from six to 13 countries.
