According to the royal saying of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej or King Rama IX in the event of His Majesty’s birthday celebration on Friday 4th December 1998, “...Self-Sufficient Economy and The new agricultural theory will bring prosperity in our nation”, this project follows the royal initiative to build the agricultural learning center in the area of Kaen Makrut, Ban rai, Uthai Thani. The architectural design is needed to integrate the suitable building with the learning workshop in order to fully enhance the new experience through doing. Starting with the consideration of spatial planning according to the new agricultural theory by designing the site to be self-reliance and sufficiently well managed in water resource



The knowledge of the new agricultural theory is used in the division of zones in planning process within this 65050 sqm by follow to the main idea of Self-sufficient Economy. Starting from the calculation of rice-grains needed for people in the area, a person needs 100 kg in a year and the rice field can produce 2000 kg in a year. Therefore, 20800 sqm is an sufficient area to produce the food. The water management process focuses on collection of rainwater, where the calculation based on the statistic that shows the approximate amount of rainwater collection of 1200mm within the area of 1600sqm in Uthai thani. The overall rainwater could be collected in the site of this project is about 78000 cubic meter, hence the preparation of the pond for water usage is using 16000 sqm at the highest area of the site to distribute the nutrients to other area for agriculture. The rest of the area of 12000 sqm will be arranged into the forest for the program of natural education of the project.

The design of the learning center bringing in the design of Thai traditional rice field hut and adapt its program into the learning workshop and exhibition space, resulting in the requirement to design the space that is able to bring in more use of natural light. The residential part is oriented and arrange to take the most advantages from the climate in passive design that requires no use of machine in order to ventilate the buildings. The overall design of the residence has the senses of the warmth and the form that inspired from houses to define its characteristic as a residential building on the site.Paticipate zone are provide 38 units of residential which is support 70 people. The 2 stories student house are seperate by gender which have 3 of boy and 3 of girl unit and provide common space as living room of house kitchen and 8 privete room for students.











HANOI RENTAL OFFICE BUILDING YEAR TYPE AREA SITE LOCATION

2017 Rental Office Building 81,136 sq.m. 6,400 sq.m. Hanoi,Vietnam

After Vietnam moved the capital city from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi, the government needed to expand the economic area of the capital. This project is part of the new master plan design with the area that consists of commercial building, residential building, and cultural building those will be connected by the green space. This design of the rental office building is located by the street in front of the project. The building was designed with the concern about green space and the program of activity that gives relaxation to the users on the office floor, as well as an integration of traditional row house of Vietnam in the design.



The rental office building is located in the area of plaza in the front section of the project with the access from expecting public transportation. The front part of the plaza area is inspired from the idea of spatial usage of large open spaces in traditional Vietnamese activities. Leaving the plaza clear, the location of the car drop off point is pushed to the western area next to the street and the front area is left open for the pedestrian usage that connects to department store next to sport complex at the back. The height of the building is 155 m with 30 stories those divided into 2 stories of lobby space, 8 stories of parking space, 7 stories of low zone office, and 7 stories of high zone office. Floor to floor distance is at 3.6 m for the 7-storey office. The office on 12A has sharing facilities such as meeting room for the users.

There are 3 elevators in low zone, 4 elevators in high zone, and a single service elevator in the design. The facade of the building is inspired from the characteristic of Vietnamese traditional row house and the addition of pocket green space within the terrace area. The multipurpose area is located on each of the office floors in all orientation within a set of 4 stories that consists of green space, cdu space, relaxing space, and relaxing with green space. The insulation black glass curtain wall is added in the design to give the sense of luxury, whereas the pattern mullion part brings in the use of line to create continuity starting from the podium to tower. The air condition system uses the cooling tower and is located above the parking area.



CROWDEDSILOM BIOPHILIC DESIGN GROUP PROJECT 2017 YEAR Biophilic And Urban Design TYPE AREA 1,000,000 sq.m. SITE LOCATION Silom,Bang Rak,Bangkok

Bangkok urban planning has a certain characteristic of zoning that clearly differentiates between certain zones with different focus of activity types and intensity of population level in a certain unit area according to the amount of existing buildings and transportation system at the specific point of the main road in each zone. The chosen site needs to have a clear expressed problem that has the potential of enough amount of existing activity level as well as variation of activities and building type. ‘Silom’ is the perfect choice for this project because its lack of green space and the over intense level of active activity only along the main road but not enough distribution further in the area, but with its variation of programs, conveying the potential site to be resolved by the Biophilic principles according to the ‘14 Patterns of Biophilic Design’, supported by Terrapin Bright Green. For example, the resolved urban planning in this design contain the additional reservoir area once the constructions on ground level are vertically stacked up, providing free space that increased from about 40% up to 80%. This meets the 5th principle where it provide Nature in the Space Pattern in a form of Presence of Water, where the space will be experienced through the seeing, hearing, and touching of water.

Silom is one of the most active district in Bangkok. Nowaday it is one of the financial area in the city, with various of program that make silom unique. It’s located in an area surrounded by varied type of urban Suanlumpini park, Sathorn CBD district, Chulalongkorn University, Historical valley and nightlife area. Overall, Silom is a high-density district that has a lot of building with FAR 1:10. Programming is based on existing program in the district as we try to respect the old requirement of this area. The proposal is divided program into 4 levels section ; ground level ,low rise ,mid rise and high rise ,based on program requirement and program’s requirement.Otherwise , density is the main propose to seperate the program with high density on the top and low density on the low floor. The first consideration of the design starts from the concern of over intensity along the main road, ‘Silom’, in terms of both activities and buildings, leading to the direction of the design in resolving the problem of this uneven distributions with the additional design for green space integrated in the chosen site. Biophilic Design Approach is the main principle used in the design of this project with the concern of the relation to the nature in the form that called ‘pattern’. There are 14 patterns covered in this design methods with the main purpose is to integrate the nature back into the urban design, considering the decrease amount of natural aspect within the design these days. It is about recreating the atmosphere that reminds occupants with the calmness and positive feeling of satisfaction in both physically and mentally ways. Pink Pank is a project of Chulalongkorn Hospital supported by Sansiri RealEstate Company. A project is a place for stage 4 breast cancer patients where they can enjoy their last moments of their lives.There are eight houses for 8 people in each house with a 24-hour nurse station. Apart from the living zone,the breast cancer center also has a diagnostic clinic for all women and an activity center for daily activities such as joging,swimming,dining,meditating, and holding conferences The most concerning thing is about how people actually live here. It is about the quatity of life that a relaxing space should be in natural, what was done for every building in the project is to make all functions have good ventilation as much as it could be.Massing a very compact form to explain in the future tree are added into spaces between each function.all circulation is open-all so the air conditon is only for room.To decrease the heat, a double roof is also designed in project which the above is a metal sheet roof and the below is concrete slab.

City hotel project located on Srinagarindra Rd,Bangkok, Thailand with 24 stories 240 room 3 room type with facilities such as banquet room, thai restaurant, fitness and gym. The hotel location was surrounded by airport link station.Target groupof the hotel is focus on asian travellers and aim to be a west gate of Bangkok. Design concept is mainly focus on asian people behavior who are real smoker. So architect provided outdoor space in every stories for hang out, take a sight and smoking. then connect all outdoor space with vertical circulation to connect the people togerther and build the community of smoker Planing was sperated the restaurant from main buliding with underground service circulation to catching other people for moreadventage of facilities. L shape planing was create to show the banqut room activities, that is a first view point of hotel. Planing of building is enclose site and create nagative space which is landscape of project, Green area provieded fresh air and park for customer and decrese temperature of site

BAAN TP 01 YEAR TYPE AREA SITE LOCATION

Baan TP 01 is a project that took part in the Architecture Design Contest 2018 by the company TPI Polene. The brief requirement is to design the residential unit in modern tropical style with the size regulation of 180200 sqm, the theme idea is to adapt the characteristic of Thai traditional architecture with the tropical architecture in the context of specific site.


Planning of the building is oriented to the North to help eliminate the high temperature of the heat from the sun that access to the interior space and providing the shading for the courtyard and its activities.

The terrace is designed referred to the Thai traditional house that often use more of the semi indoor space than a complete indoor space. This helps creating a better ventilation system through the kitchen and dining hall spaces.

The chosen material is concrete, wood, and metal to show the truthfulness, clarity, and functional aspect of the materials themselves according to the idea of modern architecture

Bedroom design uses wooden batten to ventilate the area without the use of air conditioner and the design of the high gable roof to evacuate the rainwater in the tropical climate.

Planning come form fact of perspective, projection form point to hide stainless rib structure.in addition.Planning provide shifting circulation to add more security. GROUP PROJECT INSTALLATION 100 th CHULALONGKORN UNIVERSITY GROUP On the ocasion of 100 years Anniversary of Chulalongkorn University.Each faculty has to organize academic exhibitions.For faculty of architerture was plan to convert Football court to Exhibition space. Design concept is Door.The Door synonym as stand in to opening to the new century of Faculty of Architecture Chulalongkorn.Door is the normal language of all architectural major.Planing are allocate space for 6 department and 2 international program Door is installed on steel structure which have circle line from radius of 3 4 5 door dimension.
