The highest gratitude to Allah SWT because with His permission, this Student Programme Guide, Civil Engineering Department was successfully published. This eBook is published as a guide or reference for all lecturers and students of Diploma in Geomatics throughout the Malaysian Polytechnic.

In assisting lecturers and students in obtaining additional references to delve into each topic in this course, as an initial effort this e-book is one of the side references, in addition to the provides students with knowledge and generates skill in the field of land survey especially on measurement and positioning technique, geospatial data capture, data processing, data analysis and map presentation.
