We are an international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. As the Ottawa chapter of the world’s largest student-run non-profit organization, we develop students on a global scale into responsible and entrepreneurial leaders.
How you can be involved .
Our chapter is functionally dependent on five different portfolios. Each portfolio has distinctly different responsibilities and skill-developing tasks, but all are synergistic in ensuring our chapter is successful in our goals.We are currently looking for members in all five of our portfolios. All roles run from September 2015-December 2015 (but can be extended). You can find out more below.

FINANCE Deepen your knowledge of financial management and create organizational impact using financial means. Manage the financial health and integrity of our chapter to ensure we can continue to grow our impact through our Global Internship Program.
BUSINESS RELATIONS Grow the numbers of local businesses we partner with to enable international talent to work in Ottawa. Develop your sales, business relations and account management skills. Challenge and advance your ability to bridge the Global Talent Program within the business community.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT Enable global impact by managing the Global Talent and Citizen program that helps sends students abroad. Gain hands on experience in developing, managing and supporting the exchange experiences for students. Bridge international and local relations to facilitate the placement of global opportunities for students in Ottawa and witness their development.
MARKETING Amplify the reach of AIESEC’s vision and mission through digital and traditional marketing tactics that connect our audiences to our programs. Increase the brand awareness within UOttawa to help grow the the numbers of students participating in the Global Citizen and Talent program.
HUMAN RESOURCES Develop and train the global leaders of tomorrow, drive organizational impact, and deliver hands-on leadership training for students. Ensure the talent development and management of human resources to help support their contribution to our core Global Internship Program.
FINANCE Operations Analyst
3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Your responsibility to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of AIESEC Ottawa’s operation. You will work closely with VPs of all the portfolios within AIESEC Ottawa to address any bottleneck that hinder the LC’s performance, to suggest initiatives to fix problems, and to ensure the implementation of the initiatives.

Prepare monthly operations audit report Understand the timeline and process of the operations audit Communicate with the Financial Reporting Manager to understand budget and variance analysis Communicate with VPs from all portfolio monthly to evaluate the portfolio’s operation Address problems raised by concerned VPs Identify potential problems that may arise in the LC’s operations Create positive return on investment initiatives/projects to improve operations and eventually increase exchange of AIESEC Ottawa • Understand all portfolios’ operations • Assist and monitor the implementation of the solutions/initiatives

Corporate Relations Representative Your role is to prospect and establish partnerships with the multitude of businesses that form the Ottawa business community. We strive to create local internship opportunities to allow students worldwide to partake in the AIESEC program. This opportunity allows for the participation in the function that forms the backbone of the thousands of local chapters around the world, and is therefore essential for the AIESEC program to continue to develop.
Main Responsibilities • • • •
Participate in the various ways of prospecting potential opportunities for partnerships Pursuing leads through various methods (networking events, cold calls, warm calls, sales meetings) Attending sales meetings with business professionals with the objective of ultimately forming a partnership Continual tracking of personal progress

BUSINESS RELATIONS 2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Account Delivery & Alumni Relations Coordinator AIESEC Canada’s history traces back to the 1960’s resulting in a sizeable number of alumni from all over Canada being active in Ottawa’s business community. AIESEC Ottawa aims to re-engage these alumni by allowing them to once again participate in helping the local chapter grow and provides members with an exciting opportunity to connect with individuals who have had a similar experience in their leadership journey.
You are primarily responsible for the hiring and servicing of interns as well as being liaison between interns and companies once a traineeship is signed. We strive to ensure proper execution of the incoming exchanging process, deliver quality services to the client and intern, and provide an excellent experience for our stakeholders, all of which are fundamental for the success of AIESEC Ottawa.

international experience management 2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE MANAGER | social impact opportunities You act as the first point of contact for students who have registered to go abroad and ensure they attend an information session with Marketing representatives and/or have booked a consultation meeting with an International Experience Manager. They then continue to work with students willing to go abroad to help them find and get matched to opportunities, as well as help them with any struggles they might encounter while travelling abroad. This role is an opportunity for students to be the first point of contact of transitioning potential contacts into clients that want to become involved with AIESEC as well as having the opportunity to give students the life changing experience of travelling with AIESEC.

Marketing for Social Impact Opportunities You will be dealing with all the aspects of physical and digital marketing relating to our Social Impact Opportunities at AIESEC Ottawa. Marketing is the foundation that drives all our outgoing traffic and leads generation. As a marketer, you will be the initial contact and the creative brand representative of AIESEC Ottawa. The role is an opportunity for students to truly enhance their ability to market and directly pitch to individuals about our Social Impact Opportunities program. It also allows the member to utilize their passion for volunteering and international experience and/or travelling to drive this program to our target market. Through working with the marketing team, you will be able to create effective promotional events such as our annual Global Village, and networking events to outreach and market AIESEC Ottawa.
Main Responsibilities • Responsible for coordinating and developing promotional on-campus events to promote AIESEC Ottawa. • Responsible for developing marketing initiatives to gage in on any individuals who will be interested in the organization, either as a potential member, or as an Exchange Participant.

MARKETING 3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Marketing for Professional Impact Opportunities You will be dealing with all the aspects of direct and digital marketing relating to our Professional Community Development Program at AIESEC Ottawa. Marketing is the foundation that drives all our outgoing traffic and leads generation. As a marketer, you will be the initial contact and the creative brand representative of AIESEC Ottawa. The role is an opportunity for students to truly enhance their ability to market and directly pitch to individuals about our Professional Impact opportunities at AIESEC Ottawa. This role allows the businessoriented student to learn how to interact professionally with all potential leads and enlighten them about the merit of a long-term internship abroad. This requires the drive and passion to market AIESEC Ottawa and effectively outreach to all professional networks and events such as the Study and Go Abroad fair and various career fairs to establish a strong base of potential leads.
Main Responsibilities • Responsible for coordinating and developing marketing initiatives to promote AIESEC Ottawa to our specified target markets • Responsible for contacting professional networks, graduating and mature students, and potential career fairs to boost lead generation numbers.

MARKETING 2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Specialized Digital Team Being on this team allows you to have the unprecedented ability to further develop and utilize your digital design skills. The Specialized Digital Team is composed of members having but not being limited to one or more of these skills: • photography and/or videography • Photoshop design • photo and video editing • Social Media Management
The role is an opportunity for students to truly enhance their ability to design according to a national organization guideline and deliver high quality materials for wide distribution and promotion. This requires the member to have a strong understanding of an organization’s vision and quarterly goals. This team is the creative foundation between the two main teams in the Marketing portfolio at AIESEC Ottawa. You will be the liaison between the two marketing teams spearheading the marketing initiatives for the International Experience teams and ensure that both teams have different yet nationally aligned materials.
Main Responsibilities • Responsible for developing promotional material to promote AIESEC Ottawa. • Responsible for effective marketable material to gage in on any individuals who will be interested in the organization, either as a potential member, or as a potential intern to send abroad.

Events Coordinator The events coordinator organizes and creates events for AIESEC Ottawa’s local chapter, in order to encourage member retention and to motivate members in engaging more with AIESEC. The events coordinator is also a mentor to the Marketing portfolio and assigns leads for the Marketing members to call.
