Ad cover development

I began using gouache photoshop brushes to trace my pencil sketch.

I found textures online and experimented with adding it to block colours to create a journal like cover.

Texture

I added the pencil sketches to the basic layout of the cover, ready to trace.

I experimented with paper textures in different places on the cover.

Colour palette expands & finalises.

A process of deciding how to make the lettering stand out. Resolution: -Shadow -Outline of a darker tone instead of black - less obvious -Breaking up the block red with illustrative decorations

Grid texture overlayed, gives the effect of a workbook/school book.
