Work to Ride came from behind to defeat Cavalleria Toscana in a USPA Monty Waterbury Cup match at the Greenwich Polo Club on Sunday, June 18.

The Monty Waterbury Cup championship match will be held at the club next Sunday, June 25, with gates opening at 1 p.m. and polo action starting at 3 p.m.

Luxemburg Polo Season Thirteen years ago when King Family Vineyards opened its Roseland Polo Club matches to the public in Albemarle County, owner David King said only five or six cars would show up. Now, it isn’t uncommon for 600 to 700 people to show up on a Sunday afternoon in the summer to tailgate, drink wine and watch polo. Games held every Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Crozet-based vineyard from the end of May to the end of October are free and open to the public.
