Frasers England Secure International Argentina take home MVP & BPP

O

n Sunday 20 June, Cirencester Park Polo Club hosted the Ladies International between Frasers England and Argentina on their Ivy Lodge ground. Frasers England started with a half goal handicap advantage, but the first chukka got off to a slow start, with Milly Hine scoring the only goal. The second chukka saw Argentina begin with a converted 40 yard penalty by Lía Salvo; Hazel Jackson-Gaona replied with two attempts on goal but neither of these reached their mark, but in the last five seconds of the chukka Jackson-Gaona scored her first goal of the match in the last five seconds of the chukka. The third chukka started with another converted penalty for Argentina by Salvo, swiftly followed by a goal apiece for Milly Hine and Kayley Smith, with the scoreboard reading 4½-2 going into the final chukka. The fourth chukka began with a goal for Argentina, but some lovely teamwork saw Beanie Bradley send home the fifth and final goal for Frasers England, securing a 5½-3 win.
