MATT SCANLAN ’07 Social Entrepreneur In 2015, Matt Scanlan packed $2.5 million into 32 plastic bags, piled them into the back of a rented Land Cruiser, and headed for the Gobi Desert. Named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list last year, Matt is the co-founder and CEO of Naadam Cashmere, a sociallyconscious brand that has transformed the cashmere supply chain. “We’re disrupting a thousand-year-old business model by purchasing wool directly from herders at fair prices,” he says.
