ILLUSTRATION Self-Introduction Who Is Most Like a Human? I Don't Want to Fly
Self-Introduction This work is designed in the form of folder. It describes four important periods in my life. The first part is playing the piano in my childhood. The second period is playing volleyball when I was a teenager. And the third one is learning design in the present. Finally, I use the image of playing hang gliding in the sky to symbolize that I will be brave toward the adventures in my future.
Dreams are crazy until they come true!
Who Is Most Like a Human? There is a jungle near a human village. In the jungle live a wild pig, a rabbit, a bear, and a chimpanzee. The four animals are free to do what they want in the jungle. The rabbit is free to run around and play. The wild pig is free to dig in the dirt for his favorite food. The bear is free to play and catch fish in the stream. The chimpanzee is free to swing from tree to tree. The four always get together and talk about everything.
One day, the four animals get together outside a human village. They wonder why humans are so different from animals. They decide that humans are the most intelligent animals on Earth.
“Humans have hands and fingers,” the rabbit says.
“Humans can read and think,” the bear says.
“Humans can walk on two feet,” the wild pig says.
“Humans work hard to make their dreams come true,” the chimpanzee says.
At that time, each thinks that they are more like humans than the others. The pig is wearing the sunglasses. “Don’t you think I am so much like a human?” the wild pig says with a proud look. The rabbit has her family of eighty rabbits behind her. “Don’t you think I am very much like a human, good at breeding? ”As the bear talks, he is standing upright. “Don’t all of you think that I can stand taller than most animals so I am more like a human than you? ” he says with a proud look. The chimpanzee holds up a banana. As the other three look, he peels it with his fingers, and starts eating it.“Don’t you think that I am more like a human than all of you?” the chimpanzee says with a proud look.
Then the four animals have an argument. Each thinks that they are more like a human than the others. They decide to ask some humans who will pass by. At that time, the four look at each other. The bear says to the others, “Now, let’s play a game. The one who gets the most fruits and vegetables from the truck is the winner.” When the old driver comes back, he is shocked to see the chimpanzee driving the truck away. He runs after the truck, calling out to the chimpanzee, “Stop the truck! I knew you were just like a human thief!”
I Don't Want to Fly “Fly is a series of illustrations that portrays a unique journey of Pondo, a little bird, who is eager to fly up into the sky one day. Through every practice, Pondo explores the blue sky bit by bit and get closer and closer to his dream. Nevertheless, it takes more than practice for Pondo to reach the sky. The truth is that we all need lots courage to make a change in our life, especially to have a start. The azure blue sky remains crystal clean as usual, but where would Pondo go?
