wedding policies Wedding Ceremony Recite your vows at Ponte Family Estate Winery surrounded by our magnificent vineyards with views of Mt. Palomar and the San Jacinto mountain ranges. We will provide you with fruitwood garden chairs, parasols, a fruited-water station and a perfectly groomed white rose garden to celebrate your Wedding Day. Bride and Groom’s Cottages and Wedding Hostess Two cottages will be provided on the day of your Wedding Ceremony as early as 10am for the Bride and Groom. Relax and prepare for your day in our cottages. Have your hair and make-up stylist arrive early in the day. Our Wedding Hostess will be happy to attend to your wedding day needs. The cottages are to be vacated and all personal items removed at the conclusion of the evening. No outside food or beverage may be brought into the cottages. Additional Services Floorlength linens and napkins are available as a complimentary service. Special fabrics and colors of linens are also available at an additional fee. Wedding Coordination Our professional staff will assist you in menu selections, room design and vendor referrals. However, you may find it essential to hire a professional wedding coordinator to assist you in planning your Wedding Rehearsal and Ceremony. Please refer to our Suggested Vendors List. Vendors A list of suggested vendors is included, however if you choose to bring in your own vendor they must provide Ponte with a copy of liability insurance. Reception Ponte Family Estate Winery can comfortably accommodate from 10 to 300 guests for your Wedding Reception and Dinner. Event Schedule The Ponte Family Estate Winery asks that you please adhere to the time schedule of your event. Five hours is allotted for your Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Dinner. Additional time will be charged at $1,300.00 per hour. All events must conclude by 10pm. Room Design Each Wedding Reception is complimented with a guest book table, gift table, cake table, DJ table, easel for engagement photo, a head table or sweetheart table, 66” round dining tables for guests, and a parquet wood dance floor in the Vineyard Pavilion and Reserve Room.
Menus
Ponte Family Estate Winery offers a selection of meal options for your event. However, our Executive Chef and his culinary associates would be happy to design a menu to accommodate your specific needs. Each guest will receive the same first course and dessert. Should you desire a two-entrée selection, we ask that you provide us with the exact count of each entrée, a minimum of ten business days prior to your event date. We also ask that you provide a color-coded place card indicating each guest’s entrée selection. Please inform your coordinator how many vendor and children’s meals you will need at least ten days before the event.

We ask that your menu be finalized at least 90 days in advance at your detail appointment. Banquet Event Orders indicating the room design, menu, bar and other details of your event will be prepared for you to review. Banquet Event Orders must be signed, dated and returned to the Special Events Office, 30 days prior to your event. If the Banquet Event Orders are not signed, dated and returned, Ponte Family Estate Winery reserves the right to change or cancel the details of your event. Due to state and local ordinances, all food and beverage must be consumed on the premises and purchased solely through Ponte Family Estate Winery. If you are planning on the service of alcoholic beverages, please be aware that our liquor license requires that beverages only be dispensed by our associates and bartenders. Alcoholic beverage service will be denied to those people who appear to be intoxicated or are underage. Service Charge and Sales Tax A 20% taxable service charge is added to all food and beverage charges and current California state sales tax is calculated on the total of all charges. Deposits and Space Confirmation Dates are considered definite upon receipt of a non-refundable booking deposit, security deposit and signed contract. The booking deposit is 10% of the estimated total amount of the contract for your event, or $1500 whichever is greater. A second deposit of 30% of the estimated balance is due 9 months prior to your Wedding Day. A third deposit of 30% of the estimated balance is due 6 months prior to your Wedding Day. A fourth deposit of 30% of the estimated balance is due 3 months prior to your Wedding Day. The final balance, if any, is due 10 days prior to your Wedding Day along with a completed credit card authorization form for any remaining balance at the conclusion of your event. All deposits are non-refundable. Security Deposit We require a $500 security deposit due upon the signing of the contract. The deposit is refundable subject to inspection of the event area after your wedding. Guarantees and Cancellations A final confirmation “guarantee� of your anticipated number of guests is required by 12:00 noon ten (10) working days prior to your Wedding Day and this guarantee may not be reduced. We will make an allowance to set 5% above your guarantee if requested. Cancellations must be made with our Special Events Office between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. All cancellations must be submitted and confirmed in writing. All deposits prior to any cancellation are non-refundable. Damages We reserve the right to inspect and control all private functions. The host of the event is held responsible for the members of their group. The host will be charged for any damages. Ponte Family Estate Winery will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors or ceiling, with nails, tacks, staples, carpet tape or other materials. Liability We cannot assume responsibility for any personal items or equipment brought onto our property are or changing cottages. All personal property and vendor equipment must be removed at the conclusion of the event. Lost and Found Ponte Family Estate Winery cannot be held responsible for damage to, or loss of, any articles left on the property prior to or following your event. Ponte Family Estate Winery will make every effort to return found items to the owner.
Security If, in the sole judgment of Ponte Family Estate Winery, additional security is required due to the size and nature of your event, Ponte Family Estate Winery may require you to provide, at your expense, uniformed or nonuniformed personnel. Any and all security must be arranged through Ponte Family Estate Winery. Ponte Family Estate Winery shall have final approval on any security personnel to be utilized during your function.
Parking Ample complimentary parking is available. Valet Service can be arranged at your expense if requested. Ponte Family Estate Winery is not responsible for any damage or theft to vehicles, or their contents.
