What is Poppy Seeds

 Poppy seeds is an oilseed obtained from the opium

poppy (Papaver somniferum)  Poppy seeds commonly known as “khus khus” in Hindi.  Nutty and pleasant in taste, poppy seeds are nutritious oilseeds.
