911s, people and beautiful weather were the order of the day. Participant ribbons were proudly displayed everywhere you looked. Fittingly, they’re also everywhere you’ll look in this newsletter issue. More than two thirds of the 43 car entrant list were 911s. The 901 from the Petersen Museum was so original that I was lost in time for a bit thinking I had to leave to prepare for the SATs. Ronald McDonald himself came ‘round to see how things were going for his kids at Ronald McDonald House Charities, and everyone got to meet him. It was a fun, enjoyable and memorable day.
