EVENT

INFO

When you open an email from one of our board members it will look just like this. It is notification of an up-coming event and an invitation to join us. Response, contact info and other pertinent data about the event is included. Sometimes events grow from concept to reality in a short period of time. When that happens these email notices may be the only way we have of contacting you in time. All the more reason to be sure your email info is up-to-date. Make your updates at www.pca.org.

spite of overcast conditions, vistas of Catalina Island were available. The tour continued through Portuguese Bend and on to the Point Vincente Lighthouse for photo opps and potential whale watching.

Bob has been instrumental over the years in making sure that our annual Zone 8 concours at Burton Chace Park in Marina Del Rey is a success. With Bob’s continued help with the concours, we’re looking forward to another great concours.

After the stop, it was on to the food and fun.

We’d all like to issue a hearty Thank You Very Much, Bob.

The whales are not always aware of when they are due on stage. This frustrates many watchers. Photo by Jacqueline Shubitowski.

David then introduced the new activities director, Martin Holford, to the group. Martin has served on the activities committee for some time and is an avid event enthusiast who will bring his own unique experiences to the position. Martin had a significant hand in the planning and execution of our Malibu Fun Run in May of 2007. That was one of our most heavily attended events and everyone enjoyed the drive very much. Living up to the legacy Bob has established will not be easy, but we’re certain that Martin is up to the challenge and is anxious to build on the solid foundation of activities created by Bob..

Thanks again, Bob. Happy Trails, Martin.
