“To the victor belong the spoils” This proverb originated in the United States and was first used in 1832 by Senator William Learned Marcy* of New York. In a war or other contest, the winner gets the booty. The booty, in this case, is our coveted John Deere Annual Weed Harvesting Award and this year’s recipient is non-other than Brian Van Noy!
