The Samuels Group was presented with a 2012 Build Wisconsin Award from the Wisconsin Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) in the Design Build – New Construction category. The winning entry, The Noel House, is a stunning 29,838 SF Hampton-style home revealing old world style with modern technology and amenities. In addition to the grand size and style of the house, unique design and craftsmanship is evident throughout the home including high main level coffered ceilings; customized built-up molding; stained and painted woodwork; a circular wood stair; handscraped hardwood floor that reflects warm, oldworld charm; elegant marble floors, walls, and counters; exterior cedar shingle siding with stone veneer highlights; cedar shake roofing with large built-up painted wood trim; and copper chimney pots designed to bring style and functionality to often overlooked chimneys. Extensive planning, coordination, quality construction management, and quality control resulted in this showcase home. An interesting twist to the house, states Curt Schleicher, Project Manager with The Samuels Group, is that the Noel’s did not just build the house for them, they built it for the

We firmly believe when girls succeed, so does society and are committed to providing opportunities for girls’ success.

WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY \\ The Wausau office of M3 Insurance has grown substantially in both square footage and head count since it first opened its doors in September, 2004. Three expansions later, office space has nearly tripled, with the most recent expansion taking place in April, 2011. In just the past year, head count in M3’s Wausau office has grown by 50 percent with the addition of five new employees, allowing for greater levels of company involvement with a variety of organizations throughout the Wausau area. “We really enjoy being a part of the Wausau business community and the greater central Wisconsin area,” said John Preuss, M3 Senior Account Executive and Partner. “Having business growth in such a family-oriented community makes participating in local events all the more worthwhile.” M3’s people make a point of giving their time to those that need their help, and the company provides volunteer time off or “VTO” to each employee. If you are not true to yourself you can not be true to your clients or contacts. My Great Aunt Mary gave me this advise many years ago during our annual overnight stay together. I will always treasure it. The one thing I do that makes my customer service stand out from the crowd is listen. There are many times you are in a meeting and the sales person assumes they know what your issue is and come to find out they really don’t. I want to take the time to listen to your concern or issue to make sure I fully understand before I provide solutions.
