COMMUNITY LABYRINTH –LAYING OF THE LABYRINTH

Help create a community labyrinth for Citadel Park! The workshop will involve preparing a foundation and laying out a 40–tile design generated by the participants of the May 6th workshop. Artist facilitators will be on site to curate the design and will be happy to have workshop participants join in the effort. Age: 15+

DANCING FUN!

Whether you’ve always wanted to learn how to dance, or you miss the dance classes from your childhood, this recreational dance class will keep you active and having fun. Multiple styles will be explored and no previous dance experience is necessary.

Clay Open Studio

Clay open studio is for adults to work on individual clay projects. During the first session, participants learn basic clay techniques to help them develop their ideas into their own projects. In subsequent sessions, participants are expected to work at their own pace on their own projects, with the instructor on hand as a resource to guide and answer questions as needed. Students are welcome to bring their own tools. NOTE: Fee includes $30 materials cost for the use of basic tools, clay, paints, glazes and kiln firing . Age: 16+

Hand Building With Clay

Enjoy plenty of creative, muddy fun while forming sculptural art pieces out of ceramic clay during guided sessions with Ratna Gandhi. Participants will learn some basic hand building techniques like slab, coil, and pinch work to create their own pen stands, bowls and wall art. No previous experience necessary.

NOTE: Fee includes $30 materials cost for the use of basic tools, clay, paints, glazes and kiln firing Age: 12+
