Paul was mesmerized by her beauty and her words, his mind spinning with the possibilities of what could be. And as she left the bakery, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of hope and excitement for the future.
After about 20 minutes of staring off into space, lost in his thoughts, Milton snapped him out of his reverie. “Paul, wake up! We’ve got work to do,” he said, his voice tinged with amusement. Paul shook himself out of his daze, a smile playing at the corners of his lips. “You’re right,” he replied, his heart lighter than it had been in weeks. “Let’s get back to work.”
And as they dove back into the hustle and bustle of the bakery, Paul couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for the unexpected gift of happiness that had come his way. For amidst the sadness and uncertainty, he had found something precious and beautiful—a glimmer of hope in the form of a mysterious woman named Kelly Hansin.
