PORTICO Vocal Video Auditions | 'How To' You will find two songs in your vocalfolder. Please submit one video that includes both songs. Female Vocalists: 1) Sing melody a ‘capella (meaning no accompaniment) for Who You Say I Am. You can sing in your ideal key for this song, but please make sure that you sing the same arrangement as the song mp3 (meaning don't skip over verses, choruses, bridges, etc.). 2) Sing harmony for Build My Life, singing along with the MP3 track titled "ORIGINAL TRACK". For your harmony song, please make sure that your voice can be clearly heard over the MP3 you are singing with.

Important Notes BEFORE You Record:
- In your video, try to sing with as much passion and confidence as you would on stage. - Try your best to engage us as much as possible through the recording. Treat this video audition as an 'in person' audition. Steps 1-4 on next page...
Step 1: PREPARE FOR YOUTUBE VIDEO AUDITION - Prepare for the audition using the MP3's provided.
Step 2: RECORD YOUTUBE VIDEO AUDITION - For your melody song, record your video a capella (no
accompaniment). - For your harmony song, record your video using the 'ORIGINAL TRACK' MP3, making sure that your voice can be clearly heard over the MP3 in your recording.
Step 3: UPLOAD YOUTUBE VIDEO AUDITION - Upload your video to YouTube. If you do not already have a YouTube account, you will need to create one.
- On the upload page, select the 'CREATE' button at the top right of the screen and then select "Upload Video." Title your video ‘(Your Name) – PORTICO WORSHIP AUDITION’ and change ‘PUBLIC’ to ‘UNLISTED’.
Step 4: SUBMIT YOUTUBE VIDEO AUDITION - Once your video is uploaded to YouTube, send an email to arts@porticocanada.ca with your FULL NAME and YouTube video link.
