FACILITY FEATURES

• Year-round tennis programming • 12 lighted tennis courts; 8 indoor and 4 outdoor • 16 pickleball courts At Portland Tennis Center (PTC), there are a variety of opportunities to learn the game of tennis, play, and compete at any age or ability level. Activities include adult and junior tennis classes, lessons, mixers, drills, cardio tennis, ball machine drills with pro, USTA, and City League team competition. Additionally, we offer a full developmental pathway for juniors September through May, and camps June through August.

DOUBLES MIXERS

Meet and connect with tennis players across all levels of play. Levels 2.0-2.5 do not need a rating, however, levels 3.0 and higher need a current USTA or PTC Rating. • $13 | Free with pass

DRILLS

Live ball and fast paced fun offered with level-based format, for drills, cardio tennis, and specialty drills. • $16 | $12 w/pass

LESSONS

Subject to pro and court availability. Contact PTC for pricing, availability, and reservation process. • Starting at $62/hour | $50 with pass; total will increase by number of players.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours cancellation required on all court reservations, drills, and lessons. Sign up for Junior and Adult classes online. Classes have a 7 day cancellation policy. portland.gov/parks/register.

ACCESS PASS

City of Portland residents can register for a free Access Pass to receive an ongoing discount of up to 90%. The pass is valid for 12 months from the date of enrollment. No proof of income is required. An Access Pass may be applied to: • Admission to recreation centers and pools • Preschool and after school programs • Personal training • Classes, camps, swim lessons, and other registered activities starting on or after October 3, 2022 Once you have registered for an Access Pass, you can sign up for any PP&R activity or purchase an admission pass at a reduced cost. Your Access Pass will automatically apply to eligible activities for 12 months.

A fun, high energy tennis class specifically designed to introduce the game of tennis through comfortable, parent/teacher/child on-court interactions, creative tennis games, instruction, and play. PTC is proud to partner with KidsNTennis, the Greater Portland Tennis Council, and USTA Rec Tennis to provide weekend opportunities for all levels to participate, play, and learn more about tennis. We hope to see you on the court! Racquets provided.

Kids N’ Tennis, Inc. is open to any children who are interested in learning how to play tennis and could benefit from an excellent coaching staff of certified tennis teaching professionals. Kids can attend our free summer camps at Irving Park or participate in year-round lessons at the Portland Tennis Center, Saturday mornings from 8:00–10:30am. SUNDAY MORNINGS: USTA Rec Tennis

RecTennis makes tennis and life skills programs accessible for communities across the Pacific Northwest regardless of age, skill level, and socioeconomic background. RecTennis provides the rest: USTA-approved tennis activities, educational curricula that meets state and federal standards, and free equipment. PTC provides the space. SUNDAY AFTERNOONS: Greater Portland Tennis Council (GPTC)

Designed for adults who are new to the game of tennis or that have had very limited instruction. You will learn basic scoring, proper grips, fundamental movement and the basic stroke technique.
