Design a better world
School of Architecture students have built stages for the internationally known Pickathon music festival since 2014. Each year, they repurpose materials to create an innovative, sustainable, minimal-waste performance venue.

AN URBAN ARTS EDUCATION
Exchange ideas and challenge conventional aesthetic boundaries in the studio, lecture hall, computer lab and community as you build connections between visual art traditions and your own creative expression.
Our graduates work at top companies like Nike, Wieden+Kennedy, Apple, Snapchat and Spotify. Many graduates have established successful freelance careers, running their own businesses and making their own products.

SCHOOL OF FILM
Anchitta Noowong
After graduating with her film degree in 2019, Anchitta Noowong established herself as a director, indie film producer and freelance artistic director. She already has credits on three short films and is preparing her newest project for the festival circuit.
AT THE SCHOOL OF FILM,
you'll work closely with professors who are active in the film industry and in film scholarship. Located in one of the top cities for filmmakers nationwide, our comprehensive program unites film theory and production. Students develop their creative vision, master technical skills and acquire a deep understanding of film history and the future of the film and media industry.
Our students intern on the sets of shows like Portlandia , Shrill and Grimm; work with film industry suppliers like Koerner Camera; and collaborate with independent filmmakers, film organizations and production houses like Fortem Films.
SCHOOL OF MUSIC & THEATER
Find your creative voice
Music & Theater graduates go on to work in the industry as professional singers with the Metropolitan Opera, performers on Broadway and choir directors and music educators at schools throughout the country.
