Portland State University is more than an urban research university. We’re an incubator — for fresh ideas, new connections, social change and your personal growth.
We see your strengths, and your potential. And we know you want to make your imprint on the world. Starting now.
That’s why we invite you to step outside the traditional classroom. Get your hands dirty doing field research (yes, even as an undergrad). Build modern robots and send satellites into space. Collaborate with Portland artists, and put your ideas into action in local businesses and community schools.
Our urban campus and deep city connections make these real-world opportunities possible. But it’s our identity as an inclusive institution — and our long-standing commitment to hands-on learning — that ensures they’ll be part of your PSU experience from day one.
