Our Graduates

Studying the natural sciences such as biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, and mathematics prepare students to critically examine the physical world and make scientific breakthroughs and discoveries that will address the challenges of today and tomorrow. They’ll learn to question, research, and experiment—with plenty of trial and error.

PSU faculty receive an average of $50 million in research grants every year and PSU offers undergraduate research opportunities to students in every major.

Through studying the Social Sciences, students learn what it means to be a social being across cultures, eras, genders and places. This understanding includes individual human behavior and patterns or trends. Social Sciences examine how we relate to one another as humans, how we form institutions, and how both people and institutions function.
