Teams of 3 are blindfolded and dropped in secret at a random destination in the UK. Your aim is to hitchhike your way back to the Union as fast as possible, while completing as many team challenges as possible!
BIG BREAK
I’M A SABB...
Get me out of here! Come and watch the three Student Sabbatical officers who raise the least money during RAG Week, enduring a horrid jungle meal.
OPEN MIC NIGHT
Enter our Pool competition at the Students’ Union. The 5 players who can pot all 15 balls fastest will each win a voucher for a beer and a burger to be redeemed at the Waterhole Bar.
Come along to the Waterhole Bar to listen to some university talent. Anyone can apply to play during Open Mic Night, so chances are you will know one of the acts that are performing!
FIFA TOURNAMENT
PLUS MORE!
The chance to really earn bragging rights over your mates - by beating them in the RAG Week Fifa tournament!
Loads of other events which could include: Poker tournaments, speed dating events, sponsored bike rides, quizzes and much more!
MAN VS. FOOD

RAG WEEK:
11th - 17th November
RAG Ball
Guys - Suit Up & Girls - Dress to Impress! RAG Ball is a formal ball event, and each year we have a different theme for you to get creative with. There’s entertainment on arrival, and during food being served. Later in the evening, we have a live DJ to pump the music so you can party RAG style! Everyone has an amazing time and it’s always a sell-out event! The Ball takes place at the end of January, and tickets go on sale in December. Follow RAG on Facebook or Twitter for a reminder so you don’t miss out!
TOUGH Guy “The safest most dangerous event in the world”? This is the first year RAG at Portsmouth University has dared to attempt Tough Guy. Tough Guy is an 8 mile run, with a slight difference. The route is through an assault course consisting of – barbed wire, electric shocks, blazing fire, diving into and wading through the mud, plus running up and down the mud infested hills. If that’s not bad enough, Tough Guy falls at the end of January, in the freezing winter conditions. Teams of five or more are entered into the Portsmouth Cup and the fastest team will earn the Tough Guy Trophy! The question is:
Are you TOUGH enough?
