80 EVENT PARTNERS – 3,000 PEOPLE – 5 CHARITIES Featuring a Student Art Show with 28 Central Florida Schools April 15, 2015 – (Windermere, Florida) – Windermere Spring Fest promises to be an action-packed weekend of luxury-lakeside fun, food and live entertainment for the whole family held on April 18th and 19th from 9am to 5pm at the Pines at Windermere located at 3409 Maguire Road in Windermere, Florida. The event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Windermere and through the generosity of key event sponsors such as: Orlando Health, Tavistock, Orlando Utility Commission, Windermere Preparatory School and Abney Insurance, the event is FREE to the public on both Saturday and Sunday (9am to 5pm); parking is $5.
Proceeds from sponsorship go to support selected Central Florida Charities.
WKMG Local 6 Meteorologist Tom Sorrells hosts the opening ceremony for Windermere Spring Fest 2015 at 10am on Saturday, April 18th; he will be joined on stage by the Mayor of the Town of Windermere, Gary Bruhn. The excitement is set up among a lakeside back drop of luxury lifestyle vendors including: Massey Cadillac, Boat Tree Marina, Regal and Nautique, Tommy's Orlando, Triangle Marine, Leisure Time RV, Dealers Choice and Champion Yamaha. Click here for full line up of Luxury Vendors. The Annual RCW Student Art Show will be held on April 17th during a special event called AN EVENING OF CULTURE. (Click here for tickets). The art show will be set up all weekend in the interior ART ZONE Exhibit Hall. The show highlights Central Florida student artists, showcasing their creative works ranging from paintings to sculptures. A total of 28 local public and private schools will be represented in elementary, middle and high school divisions.
The Orlando City Soccer Club and The Orlando Magic will be set up in the SPORTS ZONE area on both Saturday and Sunday with activities and guest appearances by team ambassadors, Orlando Magic Dancers and a special opportunity to meet the official mascots of both professional sports teams STUFF (from the Orlando Magic) and KINGSTON (from Orlando City Soccer Club).
