In addition to a record number of restaurants at this year’s event, Jack in the Park welcomed Central Florida culinary guru, Scott Joseph, who will serve as the event’s Honorary Chair and Master of Ceremonies. Joseph will be joined by WOFL Fox 35 Sports Anchor, Adam Shadoff, who will emcee the event. To kick off the excitement, the Jack in the Park Pre-Party, hosted by new event partners Fields BMW in Winter Park, will feature gourmet fare from Talk of the Town Restaurant Group’s Charley’s Steak House, FishBones, Johnnie’s Hideaway, Moonfish, Texas Cattle Company and Vito’s Chop House. Talk of the Town will be bringing along their citrus and oak wood-burning pit to prepare Sliced Tenderloin with Gorgonzola Fondue and Atlantic Cedar Plank Salmon. These fabulous dishes will be accompanied by their signature house salad and dessert. Held on Thursday, September 24th from 7pm-10pm, the pre-party is open to the public, and tickets, which include food and drink, are available for only $35. Celebrating its 9th year, Jack in the Park is an exquisite "outside of the ballroom" fundraising event, engaging the local community to make a difference in the lives of Special Olympics Florida athletes.
