Florida FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Central Florida’s Premier Philanthropic Event, Jack in the Park, Announces Restaurant Line Up September 4, 2014 (Clermont, FL) – Central Florida’s culinary scene is exploding and this October 25th a premier culinary event will bring together all of your favorite flavors for a good cause. Held annually at the Winter Park Civic Center, Jack in the Park is an incredible night featuring live music, black jack, an open bar and an expansive menu supplied by more than 20 of Central Florida’s most popular restaurants. Guests who attend Jack in the Park on October 25th can expect a vibrant scene featuring a mix of their favorite restaurants and some surprises. For the suggested donation of $100, guests at Jack in the Park are invited to enjoy the open bar as they sample unlimited selections from all of the participating restaurants. New to this year’s restaurant line up is Hamilton’s Kitchen, bringing its locally sourced ingredients, and Mingo’s, a restaurant featuring dishes inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients. To get everyone excited, we are also hosting an event preview on Wednesday, October 8 from 6-9 pm at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market, featuring menus from Talk of the Town Restaurant Group: Charley’s Steak House, FishBones, Johnnie’s Hideaway, Moonfish, Texas Cattle Company and Vito’s Chop House. This event preview is open to the public and tickets are $25 per person and includes drinks and food. Benefiting Special Olympics Florida, Jack in the Park is a unique "outside of the ballroom" fundraising event, engaging the local community to make a difference in the lives of Special Olympics athletes. Celebrating its 8th year, Jack in the Park will be held at the Winter Park Civic Center on October 25, 2014 from 7pm to 11pm. With 1,100 guests in attendance, last year’s event sold out.
