CENTRAL FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF PHYSICIANS FROM THE INDIAN SUBCONTIENT (CAPI) RAISES OVER $56K TO SUPPORT ORLANDO HEALTH FOUNDATION (Orlando, Florida) – November 25, 2015 – The Central Florida Association of Physicians from the Indian subcontinent (CAPI) raises nearly sixty thousand dollars during their annual Evening of Giving Gala held on November 14, 2015 at Hilton Orlando in Lake Buena Vista. This year’s event benefitted the Orlando Health Foundation who provides life-saving services to the Central Florida community. These critical services include the only Level One (the highest level) Trauma Center in Central Florida and the only Level III (the highest level) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Central Florida.
In attendance from Orlando Health: Mark Jones (President Orlando Regional Medical Center), Dr. Aurelio Duran (Vice Chief of Staff, Orlando Health) and Dr. Kathy Garrett (Vice Chairman, Orlando Health Foundation). Also in attendance: Dr. Deborah German, Dean UCF College of Medicine and the Honorable Rick Singh, Orange County Property Appraiser.
