Zebra Coalition Celebrates Five Years of Fostering Hope for LGBT+ Youth in Central Florida with Orlando’s First “UN-GALA” WILD NIGHTS – A Walk in Barcelona will be held on September 12, 2015 at Rosen Shingle Creek
(Orlando, FL) August 2015 - The Zebra Coalition announces a twist on the traditional gala concept with a whois-who list of Central Florida event partners for their 5th anniversary celebration which will be held at Rosen Shingle Creek on September 12, 2015. Guests will experience the raw energy of Barcelona, one of Spain’s most astounding cities. The “un-gala” concept forgoes silent auction, banquet seating and long programs in exchange for an opportunity to transport guests to the streets of Barcelona, the street map concept allows guests to discover exotic entertainment and delicious surprises at every turn. The evening benefits Zebra Coalition and helps provide housing, food, counseling and transportation for LGBT+ youth experiencing homelessness. “We want our guests to enjoy a night like no other; the planning committee has worked to develop a very UN-GALA affair. The Medallion Level is also SOLD OUT and includes: Orlando Magic, NeJame Law, Universal Orlando, Rosen Hotels and Resorts, the University of Central Florida and private sponsors Frank Santos and Dan Dantin.

The Zebra Coalition is a network of Central Florida social service providers, government agencies, schools, and colleges and universities that provide a full continuum of services to at-risk LGBT+ youth. The Coalition assists young people facing homelessness; bullying; physical, sexual and drug abuse; and isolation from their families with individualized programs to guide them to recovery and stability.
