During and after a winter storm, plows and graders clear high-traffic roads first before working on other roads. What you can do: 1. Please adjust your winter driving habits. Reduce your speed, do not stop suddenly and allow more time to get to your destination. 2. If you encounter snow clearing equipment on the road, please slow down, remain 15 metres (2.5 car lengths) behind the equipment and be prepared to stop as needed. 3. Please clear your sidewalks within 48 hours after a snowfall. Help others where and if you can. Businesses need to clear their sidewalks within 24 hours. Visit saskatoon.ca/snow for more information, or contact us at snow@saskatoon.ca or 306-975-2476.
