SCHOOL ZONE SPEED LIMITS RESUME SEPTEMBER 1
DRIVERS REMINDED TO SLOW DOWN DURING SCHOOL ZONE HOURS
Back to school season means school zones are once again in effect Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from September 1 to June 30. It only takes 12 seconds of additonal travel tme to reduce your speed in a school zone. During school zone hours the speed limit decreases to 30 kilometres per hour in all school zones across the city. The City of Saskatoon reminds drivers u-turns in school zones are prohibited to maintain safety for students and drivers. For more informaton visit saskatoon.ca/schoolzones
