The City of Saskatoon Community Services Department is now acceptng applicatons from groups not already receiving funding from the Youth Sport Subsidy Program. This program offers financial assistance by providing subsidies to offset facility rental costs of specific programs being delivered by eligible youth sport organizatons. CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY • be registered as a non-profit corporaton; • have a primary mandate to deliver a specific sport actvity to youth under the age of 19; • be based in Saskatoon and have been delivering the program(s) to city residents for at least two years; • have non-restrictve partcipaton and be available to all suburban areas within Saskatoon. APPLICATION DEADLINE is 5:00 p.m., October 17, 2016. APPLICATION FORMS are available for pick-up at any civic leisure facility or at the recepton desk of Recreaton & Sport at City Hall. COMPOST YOUR LEAVES AND YARD WASTE

Subscribers to the City’s green cart program may place loose leaves and other yard waste in their green cart. Residents can alternatvely take leaves and yard waste to one of the City’s free compost depots which are open untl November 13, or consider home compostng. All items placed in your black garbage cart must be bagged, to prevent loose material from spilling out of the cart when it is collected.

FALL STREET SWEEPING STARTS TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11
