BRIGHTON NEIGHBOURHOOD PROPOSED ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT – BYLAW NO. 9718 Saskatoon City Council will consider an amendment to the City’s Zoning Bylaw (No. 8770) proposed by BDM Enterprises Ltd. to rezone lands adjacent to Wes%ield Road in the Brighton neighbourhood. By way of Bylaw No. 9718, The Zoning Amendment Bylaw, 2020 (No. 18), the subject lands are proposed to be rezoned from FUD – Future Urban Development District subject to the Holding Symbol (H) to R1A - One-Unit Residen$al District, R1B - Small Lot One-Unit Residen$al District and RMTN – Townhouse Residen$al District. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO CANNABIS BUSINESS LICENSE BYLAW – BYLAW NO. 9716 Saskatoon City Council will consider a report from the City Solicitor on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers City Hall (222 3rd Avenue N), recommending that City Council consider Bylaw No. 9716, The Cannabis Business License Amendment Bylaw, 2020, which will: • Amend subsec$on 6(1) to reduce the ini$al license fee for a cannabis produc$on facility and a cannabis retail store from $20,000 to $4,500; and • Change the spelling of “license” to “licence” and reformat the defini$on sec$on to align with current dra!ing prac$ces, including the removal of footnotes.
