CORE SERVICES The City of Saskatoon con%nues to operate core services including Saskatoon Fire Department, Saskatoon Police Service, Transit Services, Waste & Recycling Collec%on, Power, Water & Sewer Services, Landfill Opera%ons, Winter Road Maintenance, Construc%on & Major Projects, and Cemetery Services. UTILITY PAYMENTS & PROPERTY TAXATION The City is commi#ed to providing increased flexibility and immediate short-term relief for your 2020 Property Tax payment. On your no%ce, your 2020 Property Tax due date will s%ll show as June 30, 2020. However: • The City is extending a three-month grace period to provide you with addi%onal %me to pay your 2020 Property Tax. • You will not incur any late payment penal%es on your 2020 Property Tax if you pay the full amount due by September 30, 2020. • If you are a TIPPS customer, you may request to be removed from TIPPS without incurring any penalty. Your full property tax amount will then be due September 30, 2020. Parks, trails, Dog Parks and public squares remain open. Keep a 2 metre (6 feet) social distance from others at all %mes. Sports fields should not be used for organized sports or contact ac%vi%es. The CP Pedestrian Bridge will be closed un%l further no%ce as it is not wide enough for users to keep a safe distance away from others. CIVIC SERVICES IMPACTED BY COVID-1 A reminder to Saskatoon residents, while the City con%nues to maintain core services, the following civic services are impacted by Covid-19: • Animal Services – changes to Subsidized Spay & Neuter Program • Building Standards – changes to permits, inspec%ons, applica%ons & payments • Bylaws Court closed • Gordon Howe Campground closed • Leisure Access Program temporarily delayed • Parking - payment is not required in pay parking zones, no %me limits, restric%ons suspended for the Residen%al Parking Program zones • Purchasing Services – not accep%ng paper/hard copy bid submissions • Waste & Recycling – Landfill not accep%ng cash, SARCAN Household Glass Program on hold, HHW Drop-off Day cancelled & more • Water Cross Connec%on – Reminder no%ces/le#ers on hold • Water Meters – AMI Upgrade appointments are paused The City offers many online services at saskatoon.ca/onlineservices.
