Community Safety in Our Neighbourhoods The Saskatoon Board of Police Commissioners, in its role as a conduit between the public and the Saskatoon Police Service, is hos#ng a Community Consulta#on focusing on: • Crime and community safety in our neighbourhoods, and • Strategies being used by city-wide and community-based groups to enhance community safety. Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saskatoon Farmers’ Market, 19th Street and Avenue B Members of the public are invited to a!end and par"cipate, and the Saskatoon Board of Police Commissioners will be at the discussion tables to hear what YOU and your organiza#ons have to say on these issues. The mee#ng will include the following presenta#ons, with discussion to follow with all a!endees on each topic: • Community Associa!ons: Community safety and ini#a#ves in their neighbourhoods. • Safe Community Ac!on Alliance: SCAA purpose, processes and community safety strategies. • Saskatoon Police Service: Elements of its Strategic Plan related to community safety.
