Housing trends are, as always, an unwieldy beast. Even so, Patrick Langston sneaks a peek at what’s hot and what’s not for 2015.

Watch for everything from more dramatic entranceways to better storage space, according to Nick Lehnert of the Irvine, Calif.-based architecture and planning firm KTGY. He listed these and others in a September 2014 article on Builder.com. “If your homes don’t have at least half these items, you’re missing the market,” he says — and that, he confirms, includes the Canadian market.
