Regular and Public Hearing meetings of City Council are broadcast live on Channel 10 starting at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., respectively. Public meetings of City Council, including public meetings of the Governance and Priorities Committee and Standing Policy Committees are also video-streamed live on the City’s website as well as archived for future viewing. Saskatoon’s high traffic roads and priority streets are cleared within 72 hours of a snowfall. What you can expect: • Circle Drive and freeways are cleared first, followed by busy streets and neighbourhoods. • If another snowfall or blowing snow occurs within the 72-hour timeframe, crews may return to clear the highest traffic streets. What you can do: • Please reduce your speed and allow yourself time to reach your destination. • Watch for blue and amber flashing lights on snow maintenance equipment. • Be prepared to stop at least 15 metres (about 2.5 car lengths) behind snow maintenance equipment.
