Ukrainian Famine and Genocide (Holodomor) Memorial Day Saturday, November 23, The Holodomor refers to the Genocidal Famine created as a result of the policies of Joseph Stalin and his Soviet regime in Ukraine in the years 1932-1933. In commemoration, we remember and recognize the sinister history of the Holodomor during which millions of people — 31% of whom were children under the age of 10 — died from deliberate starvation.

Let us remember this most unconscionable genocide, so that it never happens again.
