Florida Georgia Line brings Dig Your Roots tour to SaskTel Centre, Nov. 6. History making duo Florida Georgia Line recently became the first ever country act to achieve RIAA’s DIAMOND (10 million copies sold) certification for their hit single “Cruise.” In their relatively short career, FGL has achieved 11 #1 hits as artists and songwriters, most recently with their first single off their third studio album, “H.O.L.Y.” Their Platinum certified sophomore album Anything Goes (Big Machine Label Group) fuelled five scorching consecutive chart-toppers – Platinumcertified “Anything Goes,” “Sippin’ On Fire,” “Sun Daze,” two-times Platinum-certified “Dirt” and the final release from the album “Confession.” The 2016 ACM Awards saw the pair take home their third consecutive honour for Vocal Duo of the Year. In addition, they have won three consecutive CMA Awards for

Lumineers to perform in Saskatoon
S u b m i t t e d by S a s k T e l C e n t r e
The Lumineers announced earlier this month during their performance on Jimmy Kimmel that they’ll be embarking on their first ever North American arena tour in 2017. This news came just days after the act performed at the esteemed Americana Music Awards, and on the coattails of a current sold-out North American leg of the Cleopatra World Tour, that included shows at famed venues such as Hollywood Bowl, two nights at Greek Theater in Berkeley, two nights at Red Rocks in Denver, and two nights at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville.
Internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter, Andrew Bird and Icelandic band, Kaleo with #1 hit “Way Down We Go”, will join The Lumineers as direct support on select dates. In addition the band welcomes Margaret Glaspy and Susto as openers on select dates. The Lumineers are touring to support their sophomore effort, Cleopatra, which has garnered critical acclaim and whose singles so far have raced up the Triple A and Alternative Charts. The Lumineers will perform in Saskatoon at SaskTel Centre on March 30, 2016. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.ca.
Vocal Duo of the Year and three consecutive CMT Artists of the Year honours, among numerous other accolades from the ACMs, AMAs, CMT and Billboard. FGL has skyrocketed to stardom becoming the only artist in history to join Brooks & Dunn in achieving four back-to-back, multi-week #1 singles; breaking the record for longest #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, and having sold over 23 million downloads and over 3.5 million albums worldwide to date. In 2015 alone, the group’s Anything Goes
tour sold an impressive 1.5 million tickets, and they have just embarked on their headlining tour, Dig Your Roots through the end of 2016. Their highly anticipated third studio album, Dig Your Roots was just released last week and depicts an evolution in both their musical and personal journeys. Florida Georgia Line brings the party to SaskTel Centre, Nov. 6, joined by Granger Smith and Chris Lane. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.ca.
