Ukrainian Famine and Genocide (Holodomor) Memorial Day Saturday, November 24, 2018 День вшанування пам’яті жертв Голодомору субота, 24 листопада 2018 р. This year marks the 85th Commemoration of the Holodomor — the Genocidal Famine created as a result of the policies of Joseph Stalin and his Soviet regime in Ukraine in the years 1932-1933. In commemoration, we remember and recognize the sinister history of the Holodomor during which millions of people, 31% of whom were children under the age of 10, died from deliberate starvation.
