Man's death shocks family Lotte Pegler lotte.pegler@sussexpost.co.uk SHOCKED family members of a Bognor Regis suspected murder victim have begun to raise money for his daughter. Relatives of Daniel Weyman, 32, have set up a dedicated page on a website to help towards the future of six-year-old Ruby. Mr Weyman died at Southampton
Hospital on Sunday after he sustained critical injuries in the early hours of the morning. Two people arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail by police. Mr Weyman’s sister, Joanne Weyman, has set up the Go Fund Me page in his memory. She explains on the page: “My younger brother, Daniel, was hit by a car in Belmont Street and sadly passed away, leaving a six-year-old girl without a dad.
“He adored his daughter. He hasn't always been an angel or perfect, but who is? He was trying to sort himself out and was looking forward to seeing Ruby at Christmas. “Now I would like to do this one last thing and raise some money to make sure his girl is okay. She also told the Bognor Regis Post this week: “He was my little brother. Anything I can do I will.” Mr Weyman's mum, Debbie Goodwin,
also told the newspaper: "He was very much loved and we are still all in shock. "I appreciate all the wonderful comments on his Facebook page. "I have read every single one and ask everyone to remember a time he made them laugh or smile and remember him that way." Since Mr Weyman’s death on Sunday, hundreds of people have turned to social media See page three
