MIM AGAINST UT STATUS
An MIM senior leader and party MLA from Malakpet Assembly constituency, Ahmed Bin Abdulla Balala said that the party looks at three options: One is to divide the State into Rayala-Telangana state by merging Kurnool and Anantapur districts. The second option is a United Andhra with Hyderabad as its headquarters. The third is Telangana with Hyderabad as its headquarters. He said the UT status to Hyderabad was not finding favour with the party satraps. He declined to say why.

FIRE BREAKS OUT IN MUMBAI BUILDING
A fire broke out at the Ballard Pier Estate Exchange building in south Mumbai on Wednesday morning. The fire broke out due to a short circuit on the third floor of the building and spread to other parts. There were no reported casualties.
