VENTILATED COVER PIPE To complement our range of vitreous enamelled connecting flue pipes, you can order and install a Ventilated Cover Pipe. This allows a reduced clearance from combustible material of only one diameter away from the pipe. They are adjustable elements 710mm to 1500mm, CE Marked and tested, so that they can be installed over straight sections of Enamel Premium. They come as standard in Black RAL 9019 and can be provided in 8 other RAL colours to order.

REGULATION > The stove is installed with a clearance to combustible materials dictated by the appliance manufacturer. When this results in the flue pipe being less than the 3 x diameter normal clearance to combustibles, the Ventilated Cover Pipe is the solution. Reducing the clearance to the flue pipe to just 1 x diameter distance to combustible materials, and lowering the surface temperature making it safer for families.

The chimney can be as much as 4 metres between Wall Brackets (CMI) and can take the weight of a chimney up to 16 metres high using a Wall Support (SMI/SM). > Its 30 mm thick insulation (high density injected mineral wool) ensures THERMINOX has exceptional thermal properties that guarantees a true 50 mm clearance to combustible materials. Remove roof tiles, locate and fit the flashing plate to the roof. > The flashing base is hooked to a batten to avoid slipping and it is positioned in place of 4 to 6 roof tiles.

THERMINOX ZI > Each Pre-Fabricated Chimney Stack unit comes complete with a pre-installed section of THERMINOX ZI system chimney. Our twin wall insulated system chimney (stainless steel inner / Aluzinc outer) is CE marked and suitable for all applications and fuels which ensures the optimum performance of the appliance. It may also be capped for future use especially when forming part of a new housing development.

Roof Mounted Chimney Stack

> The roof mounted chimney stack is simply seated on the flashing base, it must be checked, levelled and adjusted if necessary.

Fixing Kit

> The fixing kit support channels are fixed to the chimney stack with studding and wing nuts, trapping the roof trusses between the two components. The stability and integrity of the roof mounted Chimney Stack is now guaranteed.

PRE-FABRICATED CHIMNEY STACK

CHIMNEY STACK FLASHING The Poujoulat flashing provides a weather tight seal to the roof of the building. It is made from galvanised steel that has been specially degreased and double rinsed before its factory applied acrylic paint finish is added. It is offered as standard in 2 colours, Black & Terracotta. For other colours, please contact us

Poujoulat’s Hint The Poujoulat Flashing system has evolved from 30 years of tried and tested designs and include all the necessary components to ensure a weather tight roof. It comes with a AXA insurance backed 10 year guarantee.

FIXING KIT FSB The fixing kit (ref FSB) consists of two semi circular punched channels and four threaded rods. The semi circular profiles of the channels facilate a simple and fast installation on all angles of roof. The rods are fixed to the roof mounted chimney stack inside the chimney stack body.

FSB PAN When fitting to a roof with an insulated panel (e.g. Fibratec or KNAUF), the setting out for the fixings to the roof is provided by a special frame. The Fixing Kit support channels should be cut on site to suit the width of the frame and the thickness of the insulating panels. Perfect for use with vaulted ceiling applications.

Poujoulat Adding Value LENGTH with AIR INTAKE Most pellet stoves are compatible with our PGI chimney system. They benefit by having the necessary combustion air supply pre-heated by the chimney on route to the stove air intake. As a result, there is an improvement in the combustion process providing 10 to 15 % annual fuel saving (400 kg of pellet).

SOLUTION FOR AIR TIGHT houses (roof crossing kit) The solution is composed of an air tight Ceiling Plate (ref. PDSE) complete with a flexible membrane to prevent air movement that fits tighly around the flue providing a safe distance to the roof construction material. The Ceiling Cover Plate (ref. PPPDSER) is an optional decorative feature (ref PDSE) when the sloping roof/ ceiling forms part of the living area.
