Courtney Friel Have you ever tuned in to watch some poker celebrities at the World Poker Tour? Then you may recognize Courtney Friel already, who is the most recent hostess at the prime events. Friel is the “successor to Shana Hiatt, yet another good looking model who has been entangled in the poker industry.
• Courtney grew up during the 70ies in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She spent much of her time interpreting professional television reporters and constantly annoyed her friends by interviewing them. If there was a video camera around, she would make sure that every part of that tape would be filled with her fancy face. But despite her great interest in journalism, Courtney had to face the cold, hard reality. Public school did not provide her with what she required to become a newscast reporter, so instead, she decided to study more common subjects. • After graduation, Courtney decided to aim for the television business. When Freil finally got her first job in online slots canada, she was hired as an anchor and news reporter. It was not a super exclusive job, and her duties included everything from adjusting camera angles to writing her own stories. Unfortunately, like taken from a movie, a tornado struck the recording studio and levelled everything with the ground. Her day was ruined even further as her uninsured card was wrecked and destroyed in the storm.
• Some bad weather was not going to stop Courtney from becoming a famous reporter, however. Prior to World Poker Tour, Courtney has been seen working with “America’s Most Wanted”, “Trackers”, “E! News” and a bunch of Nickelodeon shows. She eventually ended up with World Poker Tour, replacing Shana Hiatt who decided to step down from the scene after five tremendous years.
• When not working with the WPT events Las Vegas, Aruba and Paris, Courtney reports for the CBS affiliate in Palm Springs, where she hosts a video game show seen in the Electronic Boutique (EB) Games stores in U.S. and Canada.
