It's the annual "Best of" issue! And we've re-branded to better represent the region that the magazine covers. So we're no longer known as "Powell River Living" though we still cover the City of Powell River. Instead, the magazine is called "qathet Living" which represents that we cover the area known as qathet - basically from Lund (Klah ah men) to Saltery Bay (skelhp). This issue highlights the best of the qathet region, from best hiking trails to best fish and chips. Our cover honours the work done to preserve the Patricia Theatre - which the community has come together to save from closing. We also look at empty car lots, Sasquatches, old growth forests, books by local authors, 100 years of lawn bowling, and even how to get rid of blackberries.
